Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

This policy explains what information is collected when you use curlybits.com ("curlybits", "we", "us"), and what choices you have. The short version: the tools run on your own device, and nothing you enter into them is sent to us.

1. What you enter into the tools

Every tool on curlybits works entirely inside your web browser. Text, data, images, passwords and other content you enter or open in a tool are processed on your device and are never uploaded, stored on our servers or seen by us.

To carry your text from one curlybits tool to another (for example from the JSON Formatter to JSON to CSV), the site keeps a copy of what you typed in your browser's session storage. It never leaves your device and is deleted automatically when you close the tab.

2. Information collected automatically

Hosting and security. The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. We use this only in aggregate (for example, total visits) and to keep the site secure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address. See Google Fonts privacy.

3. Cookies and advertising

curlybits itself does not set cookies. We may show advertising provided by Google AdSense. When ads are shown:

Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time. Ads never have access to the content you enter into a tool.

4. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply, keep it no longer than needed, and never sell it or add you to a mailing list.

5. How we share information

We don't sell or rent personal information. Information is processed by the service providers named above (Cloudflare for hosting, Google for fonts and, when shown, ads) under their own privacy policies, or disclosed if the law requires it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR, Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and US state privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to its use. Because the tools don't collect what you enter, we usually hold no personal data about you beyond any email you've sent us. To make a request, contact us.

7. Children

curlybits is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how information is handled, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
