How to convert hex to decimal

Hex digits run 0–9, then A = 10, B = 11, C = 12, D = 13, E = 14 and F = 15. Each position is worth a power of 16: 1, 16, 256, 4096 and so on. Multiply each digit by its position value and add them up.

Example: FF = 15 × 16 + 15 × 1 = 255. 1A3 = 1 × 256 + 10 × 16 + 3 = 419.

Hex colors like #3A7BD5 are three hex pairs: red 3A = 58, green 7B = 123 and blue D5 = 213.
